Introduction
Hello family! Welcome back to my channel! If you’re new here, my name is Angela, and I create Beauty, Fashion, and Lifestyle content specifically for women over 40. Today’s video is a little long, so grab yourself a cup of tea, water, or even some wine to sip on. This vlog contains some personal reflections and experiences at the end, with timestamps for those who want to skip to the travel content.
This month has been incredibly busy for me! If you missed my latest video, I attended the YouTube Holiday House at Google Headquarters in California, which was phenomenal. It surpassed last year’s event, and I’m still on cloud nine about it! Before this, I was busy participating in the “Girl Get Dressed Fest," where I’m a panelist discussing fashion and branding. If you wish to join, tickets are only $ 12, and I’ll put them in the description box below.
During the event, one of the co-founders approached me and invited me to Turks and Caicos due to a cancellation. This marks the second time this year someone has invited me on an incredible trip! The first was with my friend Brandy, where we explored Ireland, Paris, and Amsterdam. Now, let’s dive into my recent adventure in Turks and Caicos!
Before heading to Turks and Caicos, I arrived in Dallas just after 6 PM from California on Thursday. After unpacking, getting my things in order, and packing again for Turks, I went to bed at 12:30 AM, only to get up at 4 AM. My flight departed at 7 AM, leading me to fly from Dallas to Miami, with just a one-hour gap before boarding my next flight to Turks and Caicos.
Once on the ground, I was ready to soak in the sun and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The hotel, Seven Stars Resort and Spa, was stunning. After settling in, I quickly donned one of my favorite tennis dresses and headed to the beach to join the ladies, where I relaxed and enjoyed some much-needed food – including some delicious fries!
Our dinner that night was at a breathtaking restaurant called Aiza. The atmosphere was beautiful, filled with hanging straw baskets and warm lighting, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of travel. I had forgotten my makeup and shades, so I felt a bit underprepared for photos, but it was a delightful night nonetheless.
The following day, we indulged in a delicious breakfast at The Farm, where they offered local vegetables. As an egg enthusiast, I was thrilled that they made my soft scrambled eggs just right! After breakfast, some of us decided to go parasailing, and while others opted out, I went for it! The experience was exhilarating, floating high in the air while taking in the beauty of the island.
I also tried jet skiing for the first time! Joining me were a few other ladies, and Barbara, one of the subscribers, decided to ride with me. Oh, what a thrill it was as we zipped across the waves, enjoying every moment!
We then headed to a floating party spot called “Noah’s Arc,” where we spent hours basking in the sun, laughing, and mingling with new friends. It was a remarkable day filled with laughter and adventure!
Sadly, the trip came to an end on Monday morning after another hearty breakfast at the hotel. I checked out, picked up some local souvenirs for my husband and niece, and wrapped my visit at the grocery store for some local libations before heading home.
I had such a great time, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip at the end of the month for a friend’s birthday celebration as she turns 50!
Thank you for reading my vlog! Have a wonderful day, and I’ll see you in the next video!
