Wednesday Morning Worship | Jesus Image

Music

Introduction

We are excited to welcome our online family to this morning's worship service. It is a blessing to have you join us as we come together to worship the Lord. This morning, as I spent time with the Lord, I kept being reminded of the song "At The Cross." I feel deeply that as we gather today, we should lay all of our burdens down at the cross and look towards the risen Christ to worship Him in spirit and in truth. As we do this, I believe the Lord will fill your homes, your cars, and your hearts, relieving you of your burdens as we worship together.

I encourage everyone to remember the day when the Lord met you—what that moment felt like, and how His love was poured into your heart. As we worship, may you experience a fresh infilling of His Spirit and a renewed joy of your salvation. Father, we thank You for Your presence and Your goodness. We come to worship you with a focus on the cross, reflecting on what Paul said: "I desire to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified." We are thankful for the sacrifice that Christ made for our peace, and we worship Him in Jesus' name. Amen.

Worship

The worship began with a beautiful expression of coming near to God through the veil of His flesh. The lyrics reminded us how Christ's sacrifice allows us to approach the very heart of God. We thank the Lord for making a way through His blood that was shed for our reconciliation.

Worship continues by reflecting on the incredible love of God, as we give Him thanks for bearing our shame and taking on our cross. Many songs prompted us to surrender our hearts to the Lord, acknowledging our brokenness and His restoring love. This holy surrender brings us closer to the Lord as we recognize the price He paid for our lives.

There was a powerful reminder that we find life at the cross and that His love endures forever. The lyrics emphasized the importance of recognizing His faithfulness, how Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him, ultimately bringing us salvation.

Prayer

As we step into a time of prayer, we invite everyone to share their prayer requests. The focus was on healing, both physically and spiritually. We prayed for those suffering from various ailments, including back pain and arthritis, invoking the power of Jesus' stripes for healing. We also prayed for those who are lost or struggling with their faith, trusting in God's unyielding love and mercy to draw them back.

Offering

As we transitioned into a time of offering, it was emphasized that giving is also an act of worship. We reflected on how God loves a cheerful giver and the importance of our heart's posture while giving. God's promise of sufficiency in all things reminds us that our offerings support His work and extend His love.

The service concluded with a call to partner with Jesus Image as we seek to spread the gospel to the nations. We encouraged attendees to become monthly partners, highlighting the impact their support could have.

Conclusion

In summary, this morning service was a beautiful reminder of the importance of coming together as a community to worship and pray. The power of the cross, the love of Christ, and the call to spread His message were central themes throughout the service. We left with our hearts uplifted and reminded of God's unwavering faithfulness.
