If you're an avid Canva user like I am, you're going to absolutely love these five new features that Canva just recently rolled out. Some of these are new capabilities that you can use within the editor, and a couple of them are brand new apps that are going to allow you to do some amazing things within your designs. Canva does have certain features that are options for everyone, regardless of whether you're using the Canva Free or Canva Pro Plan, and there are other tools that do require you to have a Canva Pro Plan. Font Filters

The first new feature we're going to talk about is font filters. When you're adding text to your design, you can find a new filter option in the font section. This feature allows you to sort through and filter by language and choose between free or Pro-only fonts. This is especially useful if you're creating a Canva template to sell and you know you only want to use free elements and fonts to make sure that your buyer is also able to access these.

Retaining Photo Edits

Canva has introduced an amazing new feature that retains photo edits. If you've edited a photo by removing the background or adding effects like shadow or blur, you can now retain those edits when you switch out the photo. This means you can drag a new photo over the old one, and it will automatically apply the same effects, saving you loads of time and effort.

Adding Borders and Corners to Grids
