    To give you a baseline on my views, if I check my analytics, I had almost three million views in the last seven days and twelve million views in the last 28 days. My follower growth has been impressive as well, with peaks like 3,700 new followers in a single day.

    This is my first official YouTube video filmed from my van, and I wanted to share it because my TikTok channel primarily features business content with a hint of dancing and insights into van life while traveling across the country.

    Content type influences income; I’ll be breaking down my various revenue streams transparently. These include brand deals, TikTok sponsorship payments, and my own products. I’ll rank them from smallest to largest in terms of income.

    Revenue from TikTok

    The smallest income source is what TikTok pays me. Similar to YouTube, TikTok operates on a CPM (Cost Per Mille) basis, meaning you earn a specific amount per thousand views. For a business channel, CPM can range up to $ 40, but when I was focused on dance content, I only made around $ 3.

    Most reports suggest TikTok pays around three cents per thousand views. While I can’t disclose my exact earnings, you can estimate based on my views.

    Once you have a thousand followers, you can start earning based on your views. To check your earnings, you need a TikTok Pro Account and access to the TikTok Creator Fund; however, I can’t share those details directly due to platform restrictions.

    Brand Deals

    Now, moving onto brand deals, which can be significantly more lucrative. Brands are interested in influencers like me because I provide analytics around my audience demographics, such as gender ratio and geographical location. Because of this data, brand collaborations have come my way. For instance, I recently collaborated with Shopify on a commercial, showcasing how success doesn’t always mean climbing the corporate ladder.

    By having a substantial following, I’m able to secure partnerships that enable me to promote their products effectively. Additionally, I receive numerous products to review, such as an electric longboard from For Real.

    The Big Money Maker

    Now, let’s address the major source of revenue: selling my own digital products. You may be surprised to learn that many influencers don’t monetize effectively despite a large following; this is often due to not having their own product.

    I launched a beginner course on creating a side hustle, driven solely from my TikTok audience without running any ads.

    Here’s how it works: I regularly create engaging content on TikTok, and at least once a day, I post a video promoting the link in my bio. This link directs followers to a free training session, where they have the opportunity to enroll in my live training.

    In November, my revenue from course sales amounted to $ 21,304.40, after Stripe fees and refunds. The sign-up process works as follows: users click my link, register for the training, and this becomes a lead.

    To illustrate this further: on a busy day in November, I recorded 677 new leads, but retaining customers through the live training is crucial since not everyone who signs up will purchase my course. On a specific day, for example, November 30, 269 people signed up, and 18 made a purchase.

    To sum it up, my total income breaks down as follows:
