Removing the old carburetor involved a couple of T20 screws and disconnecting the fuel cable. I noted that the new carburetor design had some differences, particularly regarding the adjustment points. However, after careful comparison, I was able to swap them successfully.

Once the carburetor was replaced, I encountered yet another issue. There was some debris in the carburetor that may have affected the operation, so I cleaned it out before trying to start the trimmer again. After a few adjustments to the carburetor settings – particularly the high and low ends – I finally managed to get the trimmer running smoothly.

Now it's ready for use, and I plan to put it to work. Overall, the total cost for restoring this trimmer, including parts, came to about $ 24, making it a wise investment compared to purchasing a new unit for several hundred dollars.
