What’s the c-section pooch? It's common to experience this post csection(s) and is often due to scar tissue from the surgery affecting your core muscles. Without optimization this scar tissue can often times cause your lower core muscles to weaken. You might also notice your upper abs getting stronger, which can put extra pressure on your lower belly (contributing to the pooch). Scar tissue can even cause fluid buildup, making the csection pooch more noticeable or pronounced. In Ab Rehab, we focus on c-section recovery protocols for our c-section clients to strengthen and balance core muscles again, especially around the C-section scar. This also includes follow along routines to help improve nerve and muscle function in your lower abdomen and make the scarred area more flexible. This way, your body can recover better, and you can manage your core pressure more effectively but also so we can get rid of the c-section pooch, if you desire. #abrehab #csection #postpregnancy #csectionrecovery #momtok
