Samgyetang is a popular dish to eat in Korea during the summer. It’s a whole (small) chicken served to you in a boiling bowl. It also have rice, ginseng, garlic, and jujube. It’s recommended to add salt and black pepper to your taste. My review of this instant version is: 1. The meat was very tender and the broth was not overly salty. 2. Easy to prepare! 3. A healthy meal compared to other instant foods. Highly recommended for those who want non spicy Korean foods or looking for healthier meal alternatives. 🥘 Who said soup's only for winter? This nourishing ginger, carrot and lemongrass bone broth soup gives you all the nourishment you need for those action-packed spring and summer days. 📝 Ingredients (serves 4-6): - Cooking time: 1 hour - 2 tbsp olive oil - 1 large onion, roughly chopped - 8 medium to large carrots, sliced - 4cm chunk of fresh ginger, finely sliced or grated - 1 stick of lemon grass, pounded with the handle of a knife - 500ml Freja Chicken Bone Broth - 300ml water - Seasoning of choice 👩🍳 Method: 1. Heat the oil in a large, heavy bottomed frying pan and add the onions. Sweat for about 10 minutes until translucent. 2. Add the carrots, ginger and lemongrass to the pan and stir. Saute on a gentle heat for another 10 minutes. 3. Pour in the Freja Chicken Bone Broth and water and bring to a boil. 4. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the carrots are cooked. 5. Whizz the soup directly in the pan with a hand held blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth. 6.
